DANCE SHOES
JAZZ AND FUNK - It is recommended that all students invest in jazz sneakers or jazz shoes for the most effective dance moves for jazz or funk classes. Standard joggers do not provide much flexibility due to it being too chunky - and can often stick to the dance floor. Jiffy's are not suitable safety wise due to the slippery sole. Whereas dance shoes are specifically designed for dancers - it gives you the flexibility, expecially when pointing your toes and doing spins and turns. A great asset!
BROADWAY JAZZ - black character shoes.
CONTEMPORARY - suitable footwear would be foot thongs/foot mittens, jazz shoes or bare feet.
HIP HOP - visit your local sports store for comfortable joggers/sneakers. High Tops are the best hip hop shoes!!

We also have available Backstreet dance bags.
DANCE WEAR
We sell a range of funky dance shirts and pants plus our own Backstreet dancewear in different sizes and designs to suit all styles of dance from hip hop, jazz/contempoary and funk. We have fishnet tops, lycra pants, lycra shorts, hip hop baggy pants, off the shoulder tops, singlets, shirts - you name it - we have it!!!
