2025 family CAMP TRIP
2025 family winter camp trip
Camp with like minded positive Backstreet families. Camp fire, fun family activities, fishing in the dam, Talent Show and loads of fun.
When: Cairns Show Long Weekend 18th to 20th July.
Stay 1 or 2 nights. No day trippers permitted.
Where: Mareeba Bush Stays, 110 Paglietta Road, Chewko

RSVP: Tuesday 24th June (last day of costume returns for Term 2)
Cost: $15 per adult couple or $10 for individual adults. Children are FREE under 15yo. 16yo and over pay the fee as per adults.
NOTE: Mareeba Bush Stays have allocated a massive area for our Backstreet group.

Agenda: We will be holding activities on the Saturday afternoon including a Talent Show. We will release this closer to the time.
CAMP CONDITIONS
This is a camping trip event only. All guests must stay at least one night. No day trippers.
You must see Backstreet Dance Reception to complete a form which will include your car registration and the number and names of the people in your group. $15 per night per adult couple and single adult $10 per night. No minimum nights so you can just stay one night if you wish. All children under 15yo are free.
You will need to pay in cash only at the studio reception and receive a number to place on your camper/caravan/tent. (please have the correct cash amount)
There are showers and toilets on site. Please be respectful and look after the amenities.
Fires are permitted. You must have a fire pit off the ground and bring your own firewood.
You must bring your own drinking and cooking water. (water on site is not treated)
Dogs are allowed but they must always be on a lead. All dogs must be kept under control (BARKING) and not left alone for others to look after.
Children must be supervised at all times due to 2 weirs nearby (safety) and other camp groups on site.
Fishing and redclaw pots are allowed.
Please respect each other and other campers that may be in the grounds. We have secured an area away from other campers, but noise does travel. No excessively loud music at any time. All music must be turned down no later than 9pm.
Generators can only be run between the hours of 10am and 3pm. You must bring a long cord so the generator can be placed away from camp sites – not posing noise and fumes (please note these generator conditions may be open to change).
This event is not a Backstreet Dance Event. Backstreet Dance has only invited people as a social event and is not responsible for any injuries or loss of property.
