1. Eat good food.
It’s important to listen to your own body as to what it needs, while also maintaining a balanced diet. try to reach for the non processed foods in the supermarket such as fruit, vegetables, whole grains and seafood, but also remember to treat yourself once in a while! (who doesn’t love a little bit of chocolate… yum!!)
One of the best ways to grow and make yourself the best person you can be is to set goals… and then reach them! goals could be as small as drinking 2 litres of water a day, or as big as travelling to every county in the world!
Weather your favorite form of exercise is dancing, swimming, running etc, make sure to leave time for exercise in your weekly life. exercise is proven to not just boost physical health, but also your mental health, making it a vital part of maintaining a healthy mindset.
Having a social circle (big or small) is so beneficial to an individual’s mental health. friendships help you to develop social skills, reduces depression and stress and means that you have people that you are able to rely on. some people may find it stressful or scary to make friends, but even a simple “hey, how are you!” could lead to a new friendship.
5. Take Time for Yourself.
Everyone experiences stress and many people aren’t even aware of it until someone points it out! leave time for what you love to do, give yourself a break, you deserve to reward yourself!
